The Empty Analysis: When Football Is Reduced to Boxes of 'Insufficient Information'

I received a football analysis document. It has nine chapters, yet the most striking lines are not about information but about absence. Again and again, the document repeats: “insufficient information, cannot assess.” It presents itself as a professional investigation, but the investigation records no event. For sixteen years I have watched football from inside training grounds, not from stands or screens.
